It was hot today. I'm not complaining, just not used to it. I think I will go out earlier tomorrow. Took Bayly and Maggie for a 2 mile walk this morning. I think Bayly's running days might be over for the summer if it stays hot. Fortunately she enjoys walks too. Chasing birds and gophers can be done at a either a brisk walk or a nice easy jog.  :)

Running in heat is NO FUN! But you went out and did it! Good job.

I wish I had a dog. Sometimes. And then I think they are so much work. I can't handle another thing right now :)

Bayly is fun, but you are right, she is a lot of work. She is pretty high strung even at 8 years old. I have always had a dog, but when our kids were small we chose not to have one. Kids kept us busy enough.
