Temp 8, very little windchill. It gets dark so early. But dusk made for a nice run. The sky was crystal clear except for one jet stream that was orange from the sunset. The dirt road was snow covered, but not slippery and someone has been clearing the bike path so it was almost free of snow. My eyelashes were frosty, but didn't really get cold. I just have to remember how to layer. It always takes me a few runs before I figure out the right combo. I hate tight fitting layers, except for underarmur, then I had a techy shirt, my Loki over that and then a windbreaker. My Loki is big and the windbreaker is small, so it was too tight. Next time the windbreaker goes under the Loki. Then I think I will be good to go. Less than 2 weeks and I will be home for Christmas (Colorado). I would break into song, but I will spare you all the misery. My singing is well.....lets just say I don't even sing in the shower! ;) |
