Really easy pace, just to remind my legs what they have to do on Sunday.

Weather has been awesome! No rain, temps in the upper 60's and lots of sunshine. Sugar beet harvest started today. I know it's necessary, but I hate beet harvest. The roads are a mess, big trucks and really tired drivers hauling 24/7. If the weather holds (not to hot, not to cold, no rain etc.) they should be done in about 2 weeks.

Three weeks and 3 more CC meets. The season has gone fast. Travel to Willmar this Saturday. It's a good one. Only 6 teams, but hilly. Good for us flatlanders. :)

Thanks. Come on up and I will share the exciting fall ritual of beet harvest with you! It is really interesting after a good soaking rain and all the fields are muddy and the trucks bring it all up on the road in giant clumps. There is nothing more fun and exciting than driving along and hitting a stretch of road with slick Red River Valley mud on it! :0
