Treadhills and biked 5 miles and lifted weights. It was warm enough to go outside, but it snowed all day, so by the time I could get out I couldn't see the road and didn't feel like fighting to keep myself upright.

Since I am confined to the treadmill for an extended period of time, I have decided to try some of the bells and whistles I usually don't use. We have a Precore so it has a lot of bells and whistles and I seem to get into a rut and don't take advantage of them like I should. So tomorrow night I am going to do an interval workout!

That's one way to embrace the treadmill! Do you like yours? I am looking to buy one and not sure what to go with.

More snow? What kind of accumulation do you have NOW?

I've also been thinking about a treadmill. I really dislike most stationary cardio machines though. I can't do the elliptical because it makes me feel dizzy (that's weird I know). I ride my bike on the trainer and stair machines are okay, so I'm not sure how I would fair on a treadmill. I think I've only run on one a handful of times in my life and usually not for longer than 5 minutes. But, sometimes the thought of bundling up and fighting the elements is greater than my desire to get a good work out in.

Good luck with the interval workout tonight!

Let's see... I think we've had about 50 inches so far. And of course when the temp only hits single digits above 0 it is not going to melt any time soon. Every one is just holding their breath waiting for the spring flood forecast.

I like our Precore. We've had it about 8 years and we have only had the circuit board replaced. We bought it used. And between Ron and I we have put a lot of miles on it. I complain about it, but I am glad I have it during these cold winter months.

You know kyanite, you are not the first person to tell me that the elliptical makes them dizzy. I've tried it a couple times, but I don't think it was the right "fit" for my short stature, because I really struggled with it.
